The HBP and Liver Transplantation group is leading innovative projects across various fields, supported by both public funding and public-private partnerships. The group’s primary focus areas include HBP diseases, liver, pancreatic, and biliary tract cancers, as well as transplantation in both pediatric and adult populations. This comprehensive, lifecycle approach to these diseases enables the group to execute competitive, high-impact projects with immense potential. In 2024, the group published 38 articles, 80% of which appeared in top-quartile journals. These impressive results underscore the considerable potential of this emerging group, which, despite being newly established, benefits from the innovative and dynamic vision of its members.
